Welcome to the 26th Hamilton Scout Group. 2014 is our 90th Anniversary and the 70th of Camp Wheeler. This site is to tell you about us, our programs, activities and of course about Camp Wheeler. Our place to go and enjoy the outdoors, gain new experiences, meet new friends, challenge ourselves and to just have fun Our meeting place for the last 80 plus years is Chalmers Presbyterian Church 200 Mountain Park Ave, Hamilton, ON L8V 1A2



Our group Mission is the same as Scouts Canada's "To help develop well rounded youth, better prepared for success in the world".Our Camp Wheeler Mission is to "Introduce youth to the outdoors in a safe fun environment, Teach skills and values that will be carried on into adulthood". The founder of Scouts Robert Baden Powell once said " A week of camp life is worth six months of theoretical teaching in the meeting room"

Scouting offers the opportunity for young people to learn new skills, values, sense of community and a sense of belonging. Challenge themselves. Learn about the outdoors in the outdoors, experience wilderness adventures.


Canadian Path
